The Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO) are fighting for a fair collective agreement that defends University of Ottawa’s mission and protects high quality education and research. The APUO, alongside the University of Ottawa Student Union, has launched a letter-writing campaign urging the Board of Governors to address the key priorities the APUO has presented during this round of negotiations — specifically, significantly improving their student-to-faculty/librarian ratio, which is the third worst in Ontario.
Improving student-to-faculty/librarian ratios at University of Ottawa would be a crucial step in the right direction for bargaining at universities across the province.
